"Our scope of activities include offshore works like anchor-handling, anchor-handling supply and work accommodation barges. In 1982, we ventured successfully into Indonesia, then the largest oil producer in this region. Presently, Southeast Asia remains our key operating area with Indonesia remaining our largest market.

"Hafar's prime objective is to satisfy its customer wants. In the beginning, we characteristically supported our customers with the regular tugboats and deck barges. Soon however, there were emerging specifications for more specialised vessels for offshore projects, and we stepped up efforts to broaden our offshore support services by adding to our product pool anchor handling tugs and special utility crafts. These, and together with our work and accommodation barges, we earnestly and humbly strive to be well-catered to this moving demand.
